Whether you are expecting or have already welcomed your little one, I offer a range of services to support you on your journey.
Ideal for first-time-parents, the workshops are a birth preparation course that believes that every birth can be a wonderful experience.
The course I teach is accredited by IAPP (International Alliance of perinatal Professionals) and the IPTI customised to suit your birthing needs and coping preferences.
These workshops are practical, useful, unhurried, detailed and tailored – we go way beyond the generic material trotted out on the NHS!
If you are wondering what labour is really like and how you are going to get through it all, this course is the ideal place to start. I won’t promise you a pain-free or orgasmic (!) birth. But you will go into your labour feeling prepared, confident and relaxed, knowing you have the information and tools at your disposal to have the best birth experience you can.
You can find out more about the workshops here.
More and more women in the UK are discovering the wide-ranging benefits of using Doulas for their labour preparation, birth and postpartum period. A doula is a a birth companion that offers the mother support and continuity of care before, during and after birth.
There are many reasons to use a doula. Mothers working through birth trauma or fear of birth are naturally drawn to the comfort and support having a doula by your side can offer. However, even if you are blessed with a trouble-free pregnancy, using a doula comes with many benefits, including having a source of mental, emotional and practical care that is by your side before, during and in the turbulent period after birth.
I work as a prenatal and postnatal doula, meaning I offer parents help for the periods before and during and / or the after birth. Some wish to have a doula for all stages, some look for a prenatal or a postnatal doula only.
Prenatal doula-ing focuses on preparing for the best possible labour experience and I will be at your side when the magical moment happens. Postnatal doula-ing is for those times where life, the universe and everything is in upheaval in those first magical weeks.

Every baby is a new adventure and a little personality all of their own. For first time parents, welcoming this little wonder into their world can be a time of great excitement and love, but also of great upheaval and mental, physical and emotional challenge.
Parents may suddenly find themselves ill-prepared for the demands of the new baby and realize that looking after the basic needs of a newborn isn’t as basic as all that!
The parent craft workshops designed to arm parents with the practical knowledge they need to meet and look after their baby in the first few weeks of life. The sessions equip parents with what they need to know to look after themselves and their baby’s needs in the first few weeks after birth, making the transition into parenthood as stress-free as possible. The course is accredited by the IAPP and the IPTI.
You can read more about the workshops here and more about parent craft here.
Now that your little one is here, before they are an all-singing, all-dancing, walking and talking (and crawling, and bum-shuffling, and giggling…) toddler, the best way to communicate with baby is in a way they instinctively understand – the language of touch.
Humans are primates and babies are little primates want to do what primates do – be cuddled, held and carried about. Babies crave the closeness and intimacy of their parents and want to feel skin-to-skin contact and your touch.
For parents, massaging baby can be a beautiful way to build mutual trust, understanding, connection, respect and a relationship with your new arrival.
Every baby deserves the caresses of baby massage. You can find out more about the service here.
